Her responsibilities cover:
-Composting facilities design and operation, development of protocols, training operators and quality control during the process and for the final compost product currently for 4 compost facilities in Mexico.
-A technical advisory role for marketing of compost for agriculture.
-Development of biotechnological products for odour and process control.
-Design, Equipment installation, and operation of 5 wastewater treatment plants as well as operator training for these.
The Biotechnology of Accelerated Composting of Animal and Vegetable Organic Waste is an economical and simple alternative for the elaboration of composts of high agricultural value, to safely take advantage of the organic matter and nutrient contained in the organic waste.
What is accelerated composting?
Quickly available nutrients are supplied to animal or vegetable organic wastes, beneficial microorganisms and enzymes are inoculated, as well as nutrients and extracts to control foul odors, causing an exothermic reaction which accelerates the transformation or biodegradation of organic matter : carbohydrates, fats, proteins, etc., unfold into different elements and compounds easily assimilated by plants.
Action mode
Accelerated composting is achieved with the application of natural organic products and the inoculation of microorganisms (bacteria and fungi), under humidity and aeration-controlled conditions.
It is a concentrate of humic acids combined with liquid extracts from desert plants and seaweed, which act as composting agents that activate biological processes.
It is a mixture of bacteria and fungi with high capacity for enzymatic production (cellulases, lipases, proteases, amylases, etc.), which rapidly degrade waste and produce high agricultural value composts in a short time.
It is a product based on extracts of desert plants that have a great capacity for binding to nitrogen, preventing it from being lost in the form of ammonia, and retains it in a non-volatile or toxic form, making it available for the synthesis of various nitrogen compounds, according to the needs of the plants.
